Health Information Systems, Data Use, and Research
CHAK, through its Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Unit, plays a critical role in supporting health information management, data quality improvement, and the use of evidence for decision-making across its network of Member Health Units (MHUs).
Advantages
Capacity Building in Health Information Systems
CHAK provides training and mentorship to MHUs on the use of Ministry of Health (MOH) Health Management Information System (HMIS) tools.
This support ensures proper application of standardized data collection and reporting tools used across the national health system.

Improved efficiency in service data management
Timely and accurate reporting
Easier access to performance dashboards
Participation in National Surveys and Assessments
CHAK participates in periodic national health surveys and assessments led by the MOH.
MHUs contribute service delivery data which is:
Collected and collated
Analyzed and interpreted
Shared through reports and feedback mechanisms
