CHAK is governed according to its Constitution, with the Annual General Meeting (AGM) as the highest authority, convening every April and composed of all registered members.

Executive Committee

The executive body of the AGM.

Responsible for policy formulation, plan approval, implementation monitoring, and accountability.

Members serve two-year terms, renewable up to six years.

Includes regional RCC chairpersons and office bearers (Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, etc.).

CHAK Secretariat

Headed by the General Secretary.

Comprises three main departments:

  • Health Services
  • Institution & Organisation Development
  • Financial Management and Administration

Supported by ICT, HR, and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) units.

AGM

CHAK’s supreme authority, the Annual General Meeting, meets in April. All registered members of the Association are eligible to attend the AGM.

CHAK Board of Trustees is composed of seven senior Church Leaders from member churches who are mandated by the Constitution to hold in trust all the assets of the Association.

The CHAK Constitution requires that the Trustees be either serving or retired senior Church Leaders of national stature from CHAK member churches. The Board of Trustees meets annually.

The Trustees are appointed by the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to serve a renewable six-year term.

They are responsible for the overall mission and strategic direction of the organization. They also approve infrastructure development and investments.
