The CHAK network stands at a defining moment, one that calls for bold reflection, purposeful renewal, and renewed energy for the future. Even in the face of health care financing challenges, including delayed SHA disbursements and shifting donor priorities, our commitment has not wavered. Across 45 counties—many of them underserved—we continue to show up, deliver, and serve with resilience and resolve.
This edition of the CHAK Quarterly is all about momentum and transformation. We spotlight the strategic shifts driving sustainability across the network, both at the Secretariat and within our network of member health facilities. With a sharpened strategic focus, CHAK is positioning itself for greater impact, stronger partnerships, and a future built on resilience.
Our member facilities are rising to the challenge. Maua Methodist Hospital is leading the way with innovative service integration, demonstrating that faith-based organizations remain at the forefront of thought leadership in healthcare delivery. Meanwhile, AIC Kapsowar Hospital’s successful plastic and reconstructive surgery programme is changing lives, expanding access to specialized care and restoring dignity where it matters most. These stories are powerful reminders of what is possible when excellence meets compassion.
While the global funding landscape continues to shift, bringing increased competition and uncertainty, it has also sparked innovation across our network. We are adapting, diversifying, and strengthening partnerships to sustain and grow our impact.
