CHAK Shifts Strategy for Growth and Sustainability
By Anne Mbugua — CHAK
CHAK has entered a significant new chapter following a smooth and successful leadership transition. With the organisational shift complete, the Board, staff, and management have taken the opportunity to reassess, reorganize, and re-prioritize CHAK’s strategic direction for the years ahead.
Guided by its founding scripture in Revelation 22:2 which speaks of bearing fruit and bringing healing to the nations, CHAK has defined a renewed strategic focus designed to align the organisation with today’s rapidly changing donor environment while strengthening long-term sustainability.
Through a comprehensive internal review, CHAK has identified twelve core strategic pillars that will shape its work and define its niche across the health and business landscape.
The Six Health Services strategic pillars are:
- Disease Control
- Health Spirituality
- Health Systems Strengthening
- Health Business Development
- Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Research & Learning
- Health Management Units
The Six Business Services strategic pillars are:
- Hospitality (CHAK Guest House)
- Consultancy Services
- Medical Equipment Services
- Real Estate Development
- Health/Medical Vehicle Insurance
- Capacity Development (Institute of Capacity Development)
These pillars provide a clear roadmap for CHAK’s future, enhancing operational effectiveness, strengthening revenue-generating initiatives, and ensuring that the organisation remains both mission-focused and financially resilient.
As CHAK continues to pursue its vision of Quality Health Care for All to the Glory of God, this renewed strategic framework positions the organisation for sustainable growth, increased impact, and stronger partnerships in the years ahead.
“This renewed strategic framework positions the organisation for sustainable growth, increased impact, and stronger partnerships in the years ahead.”
