CHAK is working in partnership with Novo Nordisk Limited, Ministry of Health, and other partners in the iCARE project. The project is fronted by Novo Nordisk in its new social responsibility strategy dubbed Defeat Diabetes. 

ICARE is an acronym of the key objectives of the project:

ICARE seeks to address four key programmatic objectives: 

• Build the capacity of health care providers to address diabetes management challenges
• Reach more people with quality care and treatment
• Ensure affordable insulin supply reaches patients
• Empower people with diabetes to better manage their condition
